SecuRam Basic battery change
Please make sure you perform this operation with the door open and bolts out. If you have any questions please call us at 1-800-543-1277.
On the SecuRam Basic, the battery compartment is located on the right side, about the 5 o’clock mark. There is a small black box with a lever.
Grab and pull down on the lever to unlock. Once you have unlock the battery compartment, pull straight down. The entire battery compartment will come out.
Install a new battery into battery compartment, make sure to match the terminals. ( We recommend to use a 9 volt Alkaline battery, preferably an Energizer battery)
Push the battery compartment back into place and lock the lever.
Make sure the you test the combination several times before closing the door.
SecuRam TopLit battery change
Firs, grab and twist the keypad ring to the left, counterclockwise, and pull. The outside part of the keypad will come off.
Second, pull out the battery located on the right side of the lock. Unplug the old battery and connect the new battery.
Third, slide the new battery back into the battery tray, put the keypad ring back, and twist to the right or clockwise.
Forth, make sure you test the combination several times before closing the door.
